-6 overtimes. That's what it took for Syracuse to knock off UConn in the Big East quarterfinals last night/this morning at Madison Square Garden in New York City. I have posted the highlights from because I can't describe this game any better than they did.

-Mark McGwire did a rare interview with the New York Times for today's edition. In the interview McGwire talks about his role as a hitting tutor for 4 current MLB players. McGwire agreed to the interview only when told he would not be asked about the steroid controversy.

-Ho, hum, just another triple double for LeBron James. The Cavs won for the first time in the LeBron era at Phoenix last night. James scored 34 points, dished 13 assists, and grabbed 10 rebounds. This may be the only guy in the league that could average a triple-double for an entire season. This was his 3rd consecutive triple-double.

-Michael Phelps did an interview with NBC that will air on Dateline this Sunday night. In the interview Phelps talks about the night where he was photographed smoking out of a bong. Phelps apologized for the photo, but never acknowledged that he was smoking marijuanna out of the device.
